Ash has long been valued as firewood for its dependable heat, while birch lights readily and gives a lively flame. Together they make excellent fuel when cut, split and given enough time to season.
Our process
Four steps to a better fire
Cut and processed
Selected timber is brought back for processing, where it is cut and split into practical firewood sizes. We offer consistent log lengths from approximately 8 to 12 inches, with particular sizes available by request.
Naturally seasoned
The logs are stacked and given the time and airflow they need to season properly. We do not rush this stage: reducing moisture helps the wood light more easily, burn more efficiently and produce dependable heat.
Checked and delivered
Once ready, the logs are checked, packed into bulk bags and prepared for local delivery from South Godstone. The result is straightforward, reliable winter fuel from a local family business.

We are proudly Ready to Burn certified. Our firewood is seasoned to well below 20% moisture content and checked before it is prepared for collection or local delivery.

Delivery is usually 1–3 days after we confirm your order. Your preferred date is a request; we will confirm the route, access and availability with you. Check our local delivery area.
For online and telephone consumer purchases, you normally have 14 days after receiving the goods to tell us you wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return them or arrange collection. Contact us before returning bulky goods. Read our returns and refunds policy.
